Found out today that one of my favorate Musician past away at the age of 36, The car crash that killed Nujabes took place on February 26, 2010, the same day a earthquake struck off the coast of Japan.
Nujabes really changed and openned my taste in music over the years with the hybrid of hip hop and jazz, before his music came along the only hiphop I knew was the mainstream ones about guns, money, girls. It all started with Samurai Champloo. Nujabes brought a very different uplifting feel to hiphop, that really helped me through many tough times in school or just in my personal life. I've been a huge fan since and been waiting for that next album that never came...We'll all miss you Nujabes his awesome music help influence that music taste I have now, and perhaps even the kind of person I am now.
